Aromatic Summary / Note / Strength of Aroma: Cassia Organic Essential Oil has a warm scent due to its 1% to 2% volatile oil, which is mainly responsible for the spicy aroma that is similar to Cinnamon. It is a strong top note.

Product Abstract: The first recorded use of Cassia Oil, also known as Bastard Cinnamon and Chinese Cinnamon, was in China and dates back to the Han Dynasty (200 BCE - 200 CE). In Exodus 30:23, Moses was ordered to use both Cinnamon (Kinnamon) and Cassia (Qesia) together with Myrrh, Sweet Calamus and Olive Oil to produce a holy oil with which to anoint the Ark of the Covenant.

Cautions: For external use only; dilute well before use. May cause skin irritation; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with eyes should be avoided.

Storage: It is recommended that oils packaged in metal containers (for safe shipping), be transferred into dark glass containers to maintain freshness and attain maximum shelf life.
